Meanwhile…back at PIRC HQ…

During the graveside service for Uncle Joe, Cousin Mark spoke of the Plomaritis Train racing along the track of life, and though we are grieving, we should find comfort knowing that his dad is just in the sleeper car joining Uncle George and Uncle Tim.

This train began its journey in Manchester 1926, making refueling and re-energizing stops picking up passengers along the way.

It was during it’s stop in Merrillville that this train picked up the name “PIRC”.

It has been noted by the Cousinhood, that with the Uncle hood (+ 1) fading and with a sense if urgency that we need to be making a refueling, re-energizing & reorganizing stop in 2017.

It has been our tradition to allow at least three years to prepare and finance such stops.  In view of the limited time before us and for the sake of expediency, your Chairman Secretary has selected our most neutral site for a PIRC family regrouping at which time your President, Cousin Deb will take full responsibility with the BOT to decide of where the PIRC train goes from there.  If all family reps of seven woman attend, I’m certain that a decision will easily be determined.  However if assistance is needed, Cousin Mark, your future. Chairman Secretary, can serve as arbiter.

We will revisit Nantahala Village.  It is our best known site for what we do. We will ask for only $50.00 for each Cousinhood adult to cover our food, beverage (liqueur), and  group event.

Fees will be sent to Cousin Chuckie Yeager to build a new data base.

Cousin Deb will have the challenge of working out a compromise with the families attending the annual regional conventions for an open weekend during the summer months. It will take some sacrifice but we can make it happen and when we do it will) be a sweet time.

You will note when you go on line, the many activities available for what we do.  There is the Tabor house for our hang out and a fine restaurant on grounds.
